Content rules
Pagehush is a place for original fiction and the people who write it. Every story, chapter and profile change is reviewed before it goes public. These rules decide what we approve.
Allowed for everyone
- Original stories, serials and poetry in any genre.
- Fan fiction that credits the source.
- Dark themes handled as fiction, with content warnings where they help readers.
Allowed with an 18+ label
- Romance and explicit sexual content between adult characters.
- Graphic horror, gore and violence.
- Strong language and intense adult themes.
18+ stories are hidden from guests and from members under 18. Members aged 18 or older see them only after turning on 18+ content and confirming consent.
Never allowed
- Any sexual content involving a character under 18, or described as a child. We report this to the authorities.
- Sexual content about real, identifiable people.
- Sexual content involving animals.
- Content that promotes or gives practical instructions for real-world harm.
- Hate speech, harassment, or sharing someone’s private information.
- Copying someone else’s work and posting it as your own.
- Images containing nudity. Photo albums with partial nudity will have their own reviewed 18+ rules when albums launch.
What happens if a rule is broken
A moderator may ask for changes, reject a submission, take content down, send a warning, or suspend an account. Serious or repeated breaks lead to a permanent ban.
If you see something that breaks these rules, use the Report link on the story, chapter, comment or profile.
